Courtney + Cory
A Pinwheel Themed Wedding at the Denver SPACE Gallery
We LOVED that this couple wanted to get married in an art gallery! We were so excited to see how it would all come together and we were not disappointed – the incredible detail with which Courtney and Cory planned their wedding was amazing! I can’t even begin to guess how many pinwheels they made to cover their ceremony arch or fill the glass bottles at their reception. Tyler had a great time with the guys while they got ready at Sobo 151, a Czech bar in Denver. They were up for anything and thoroughly enjoyed their pool time. I just couldn’t get over how much I loved doing bride and groom portraits inside the gorgeous art gallery!
C & C had planned an outdoor ceremony, and since it was June in Colorado, we should have been pretty safe. But 30 minutes before their ceremony started, it began to rain. NOOO!! All the guests rushed inside the gallery to stay dry, and we were all a little worried about what would end up happening for the ceremony. Believe it or not, the rain stopped and the sun came out exactly when it was time to start the ceremony! The chairs were quickly dried off and Courtney walked down the aisle to her new husband.
One last detail we found super cute – the bride and groom incorporated their new last names, “Sparks,” into their reception exit! Yep, they had a grand Spark-ler exit from the SPACE gallery and we couldn’t have been more happy for them. Congratulations Courtney and Cory, it was a beautiful day!
