I love this image from Kelly and Matt's intimate wedding at the Craftwood Inn! We've shot quite a few weddings at the Craftwood Inn in Manitou Springs, Colorado, and it really is a sweet little venue for smaller weddings.
We love Brian and the rest of the staff at the Craftwood Inn, they sincerely care about the people they serve and want them to have the best experience and wedding day possible.
The Craftwood Inn was built in 1912 by Roland Bautwell, when Colorado Springs was know as "Little London." The Inn acted as Bautwell's coppersmith shop - he was a world traveler and he decorated the Craftwood with stained glass maidens from Italy and a Japanese shrine on the front column.
When the Inn became a restaurant in 1940, it became know for its exquisite cuisine and entertained celebrities such as Cary Grant, Bing Crosby, and Lawrence Welk.
In addition to the main building that hosts the ceremony and reception, the Craftwood boasts its own adorable Bridal Cottage and Grooms Cottage. These cottages make the perfect spot for the bride and groom to get ready.
The Craftwood Inn in Manitou Springs has been through quite a few changes since its birth in 1912, but Tyler and I like to say that it offers the best wedding food in the city of Colorado Springs! We love photographing weddings there and the atmosphere it creates for the marriage celebration.
