We loved being wedding photographers in Vail, Colorado! We photographed this wedding at the Donovan Pavilion just outside of Vail Village. The ceremony took place in October, so it was an incredible fall day in the Vail valley! Megan and Andrew's ceremony took place outside under the yellow aspen trees. Megan's bridesmaids wore beautiful plum long gowns and carried bouquets of purple, red, and yellow flowers. The bride is originally from Colorado and grew up in the Rocky Mountains. Her family spent a lot of time skiing, so naturally she wanted to get married in the Colorado mountains. She knew the Donovan Pavilion was the perfect wedding venue to tie the knot. We loved the opportunity to help the bride and groom plan their mountain wedding. Megan and Andrew chose to do a First Look on one of the iconic bridges in Vail Village. Afterwards we had time to get some gorgeous bride and groom portraits under yellow aspen trees and in front of the Gore Mountain Range in east Vail. We then returned to the Donovan for the ceremony. Afterwards we did family formals and bridal party portraits. The reception was wonderful - Megan had done a great job picking out fall details such as pumpkins and fall leaves on her wedding cake.
