This photo was captured during an ice storm in Colorado Springs in February. There had been frost on the trees and fog for about two days in the city, which isn't overly normal for us. I knew I needed to find a model who was willing to put on her wedding dress and stand in the cold with me so I could get some amazing photos! I was able to convince a former bride of ours to dig out her wedding dress and be my muse. She did a fantastic job posing in the freezing cold, and she never complained once! I grabbed a petite bouquet from Whole Foods and a few props from A Love Tale Unique Wedding Rentals. I just love the way that the white backdrop and the bride's white dress make her skin really pop in the photo. We got a lot of beautiful images that day but this one was one of my favorites. It's not often that I get the chance to go out and shoot something just for fun, so this mini styled shoot was a much needed inspiration for me in the middle of winter when there's not many chances to shoot bridal portraits.
